Marketing Specialist (m/f/d) - Würzburg/Estenfeld

We at Matthews Marking Systems are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated individual to join our marketing team as soon as possible.

The position is based at our location in Würzburg/Estenfeld, as the role requires close coordination with sales, marketing, and related functions.

In this role, you will take on a key operational responsibility in marketing for the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) and work closely with the sales team and international marketing teams.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent operational implementation and coordination of marketing initiatives in a B2B environment (online and offline)
• Actively contributing to the further development of our online presence (website, search engine optimization, and search engine advertising), including identifying and implementing specific optimization measures
• Creating, coordinating, and maintaining marketing materials in accordance with our brand guidelines (internally and with external partners)
• Contributing to regional marketing activities for the EMEA region, e.g., content formats, campaigns, events, PR topics, and social media posts
• Working with marketing-related metrics and KPIs: creating, analyzing, and interpreting reports, as well as deriving concrete recommendations for action
• Coordinating with the sales team and international marketing teams (including the U.S. and Sweden)
• Working with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro

Your Profile:

• A college degree in media management, marketing, or a comparable field
• 3 – 5 years of relevant professional experience in an operational marketing environment with hands-on experience in online marketing disciplines (B2B experience is a plus)
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Demonstrable practical experience in online/digital marketing, particularly website management, SEO, and/or search engine advertising
• Experience working with marketing KPIs, interpreting metrics, and deriving concrete actions
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop; basic knowledge of Premiere Pro is a plus
• A strong hands-on mindset and sense of responsibility
• Strong communication skills, initiative, the ability to work well in a team, and a self-organized approach to work
• Good technical understanding

In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Sales.
